Seemed there were deer and elk everywhere that day. Always weird to me how much open space there is in California….feels unsettled and undiscovered still compared to the East Coast where there’s another city every 60 miles or so.

Continuing to shoot soft/slightly out of focus…I like the 35mm look it gives it and abstracts shapes and turns places like lawns into giant color fields. This shot is three layered shots…one of the Atlantic Ocean, one of the Pacific and another of a sand mound at Lake Ontario.

I loved markers back then. “El Marko” brand was a favorite ( the Sharpie of their day). I had an obsession with giant witches for a year or so…sometimes they towered over drawings of our house in Liverpool,New York like Godzilla.

I’m in the last stages of editing a new psychedelic experimental short. (See my film drop-down for stills.) It’s 25 minutes with a soundtrack I scored and performed (with Dale Walker, Scott Wilson, Brendan Gosson and others). The soundtrack will be released on cd in the Spring by WowCool.com. The sole actress is model Aiya Campbell.
